About me.

Hello! I’m Sahar, the founder of Willow & Bay Scents. I created the brand after learning how to make Soy wax candles and Reed Diffusers in December 2020. I loved being able to create scent and dye combinations that I hadn’t seen on the market.

I have bought a lot of candles over the years varying in price and quality so I wanted to be sure Willow & Bay would be of the very best quality.

Since launching we have traded at a number of markets including the iconic Old Spitalfields Market and featured in John Lewis & Partners in both London & Birmingham.

About the products.

All products are hand poured by me in London and are vegan friendly and cruelty free. Our products stand out from our competitors and the crowd as the majority of the candles are dyed to match the scent. We are also CLP compliant, which means all products come with a safety label setting out how to use your product but also what ingredients are in them. We use the highest percentage fragrance oil possible so the candles are strong and will fill your homes beautifully.

We use Soy wax as it gives a much cleaner and longer burn and:

- It’s non-toxic and environmentally friendly and made from renewable sources and whereas paraffin is made from petroleum;

- While all candles emit some black soot when burning, soy wax candles produce a lot less;

- Burns slower meaning you get the most out of the products; and

- Amazing ‘hot scent throw’ which means strong smelling candles and no additives needed to boost the waxes performance.

Being Sustainable.

We pride ourselves on providing luxury products which you would be proud to display in your homes. The black jars make the most amazing and chic home decor whilst filling your homes with the most beautiful fragrance.

As well as providing high quality products at Willow & Bay we aim to do our bit to be sustainable; 200g candle refills are available as well as all packaging being recyclable and reuseable. The canvas bags each product is sent in can also be personalised with a name or short message and reused to store anything you like! They make the perfect gift and have been really popular since we launched in 2020.

Another advantage of soy wax is that it is really easy to clean so just use some hot soapy water to wash out your jar and it will be ready to pop your Willow & Bay refill in.
